11 Months!

Wow, almost a year.  I have no idea where the last year has gone, it's flown by in a sleep deprived haze! Sleep is actually not to bad the last few months, other then teething, being sick, learning new skills..haha so we have a night a week that's not bad! The little guy is sick the last few days so we are all tired!
He's walking!  Wow crazy, but not surprising as he has been working like a fiend trying to.  He's becoming more and more of a toddler everyday.

He loves being outside and get so excited to go and explore something new!

Before Haircut
After Haircut
He can say mama, dada, dog, duck and no! We got a great Sandra Boyton book out from the library "Are you a cow?"  and every time we get to the no part little Ro shakes his head and says no no.

Swimming at the Lake!
1st night away with just mom!

Meeting Ryler and Jaxton for the first time!

Seeing Uncle Cory for the first time in 9 months!
We have had a very busy August, and it looks like it will be busy right up until the end of September!  The house is always a mess, and I am always discovering something new that I need to Ronan proof, as man that kid gets into everything and anything!

Camping

Our first camping trip with Ronan was over to Saltspring.  Beautiful! Ro did pretty good considering he was teething.  He loves being outdoors, so lots of walks with him riding in the ergo, enjoying Ruckle Park.  Also sleeping in the tent with the dogs was a big hit with Ronan, at home the dogs aren't allowed on the bed so it was a novelty.  We've spent a few more nights in a tent since then and they on average have gone really well.  Looks like he is going to take after his dad that way!

He is a very happy and playful little guy who loves cruising around and being around other people.  He is so friendly and loves to make another person smile.  Ro shares his food willingly with the dogs and anyone else. Who does the Bean look like round 2!

A Hobbit, from Lord of the Rings! The childminding at the gym calls him Frodo the little Hobbit, it's pretty darn cute.

He eats like a Hobbit too!

Things to say

MAMA!! and dog...at least mama was first.  When Ro was a baby we tried to figure out what his first word would be our guesses were milk (which he has been signing for months so technically that was is first word just not spoken) or dog.  This last month I was pretty sure it would be Dad though, cause there is nothing better then Dad coming home at the end of the day!

Happy Father's Day!

Well we are celebrating Father's Day for the second time, because I thought it was last week and was rushing around while sick all week trying to get things ready! Landon was a little confused and tried to ignore the gifts hidden around the house, thinking I had really lousy hiding places and I was getting frustrated that he couldn't "find anything."  After a little while Landon finally told me it wasn't until next week, I had check the calender to make sure he was righ...I guess that's what happens when your exhausted, sick and haven't been out of the house except to see the Dr in a week and a half!
Ronan loves loves loves his Daddy, I can ask where's Daddy and he looks around for Landon, and gives him the biggest smiles when he comes in the door from work. They have an incredible bond that I am so thankful for, and have had the privilege of watching my amazing husband become a Father this year...beautiful! There are no words for how much I am thankful for the type of Father that Landon is for Ronan, he is a very lucky boy!
Ro also is lucky to have two grandpa's who adore him as well!

Remembering this day

I have spent the last couple days remembering this day and moments from September 25 2012, as baby season seems to be upon us again!
Meeting Ro for the first time.  I was really groggy, it was a long hard uneventful labor that lead to a C-section.
This was in the operating room,
Instant love, in recovery waiting to feed the little one!

Falling in love.  I spent the first night wide awake just watching him, every time the nurse came in she scolded me for not sleeping, by this time it had be around 40 hours since I had slept! I honestly couldn't help it, I could believe that he was finally here!

I cried in every picture I was so so so happy!
